Wordsworth poem and note, 1839?

William Wordsworth's poem "Composed during an evening of peculiar beauty," transcribed in the hand of his wife Dorothy, and followed by a note in his hand to the artist Washington Allston. The poem and note were sent to Allston to thank him for showing his paintings to Mrs. Wordsworth. Accompanied by typewritten transcripts of this item and of a letter William Wordsworth wrote to Henry Reed from Rydal Mount on February 22, 1839, to thank him for a kind review. Housed in a burgundy colored cloth case, with outer cover of half morocco.
